All Blacks and Wellington Hurricane hooker signed a new agreement for the Rugby World Cup

Dane Coles has 74 New Zealand hats and can participate in the 2023 World Cup in France after signing a new agreement: "I am very happy to participate in my favorite game, and I am also very happy to have the opportunity to stay accept the hurricane and New Zealand plays rugby.”

All Blacks hooker Dane Coles have renewed their contracts with New Zealand Rugby (NZR) and the Wellington Hurricanes super rugby team, allowing him to compete in the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France.

The 34-year-old said he hopes to increase his 74 test caps and remain as a "one-club man" in the hurricane.

He said in a statement, "I am very happy to play my favorite game, and also very happy to have the opportunity to continue accepting the Hurricanes and New Zealand Rugby."

"The Hurricanes have always been loyal to me ... so it would be great to continue my career.

“I am also looking forward to giving myself another chance to play for New Zealand.

"It is a great honor to play for this team and I have never thought about wearing a black jersey."

Coles was the 2015 World Cup champion in England and was part of the All Black team, which reached the semi-finals of  2019 World Cup in Japan, where they lost 19-7 to England.

Dane Coles took part in five tests in 2020, four of which started.

New Zealand Rugby head coach Ian Foster said: “It's great news to have 'Coles' back in New Zealand.

"He's such an influential player on our team: he's a world-class player, an inspiration to his teammates, and we love his genuine honesty."
