Randall and her classmates should see the dance floor reopen from May 10 as part of Murphy’s change. Randall said Cherry Shandong’s outdoor dance is scheduled for May 27.

Other changes on May 10 include increasing the capacity of indoor activities. Including dancing, to 50 percent for up to 250 people. In-room dining agreements still need to be observed.
Millville’s ball is scheduled for May 20 at the Grove Room at Pittsgrove Center. Millville has about 372 students in the last year, who exceed the internal limit.
“Honestly, it’s kind of crazy to find out we need a dance or two,” said Dobroski, president of the student union.
“This is the last thing the last night of the proms you do as a class. You won’t be with these people anymore, at least not.
Dobroski said Murphy’s indoor capacity announcement was a conversation. With the prom planning committee Tuesday morning and that the group should “reevaluate. And continue to look at the number of people (of prom participants).”
