The Lasts Night Proms molica said boat trips were not allowed this year. Proms so organizers and school administrators decided to hold a party. It will still carry the traditional “black and white” theme of the annual cruise. But with the atmosphere more like a dance.
But there will also be masks, social alienation and possibly hand sanitizers – other souvenirs of the pop-up dance.

Then there’s Molica’s bright pink prom dress, thin straps and a shimmering front.
The 18-year-old said she had waited long enough to wear it since last year’s dance. Some of her friends are also considering doing the same.
Molica was grateful for the chance to celebrate a year with her peers, eliminating many of her peers.
The pandemic eliminated any chance that graduates in the region would be in the “normal” final year. Divided into two groups of students during the week, taking turns going to school. Homecoming, Spirit Week, Senior Sports Season, Musicals and Dramas, Academic Awards, etc. are all gone. This makes it hard to see friends.
And most of the year, in schools across the country, it threatens proms and graduations.
In recent weeks, as the number of cases of the virus has fallen and restrictions have eased. School administrators have drawn up plans to provide celebrations in every way possible.
“We grew up dreaming of a dance party,” Molica said. “It’s an important memory. I think it’s important to unite our class for the last party and party.
This year’s students don’t take the date to the party like the ball. The event will be held at the high school, while other parts of the state will be planned at venues such as Gillette Stadium. Molica would only meet up with a friend to take a picture in advance.
