Follower unrest outside Man Utd's
team hotel and further disturbances at the stadium, including fans entering
COVID-19-secure areas of the stadium forced Sunday's game to be called off
following discussions between Police, the PL, and the two football clubs.
Man Utd could still face
disciplinary action, including a possible fine, stadium closure or point
deduction, as a result of the postponement, with both the English
Football Association and Premier League initiation an investigation into the
conditions that led to the game being called off.
But with the Premier League season
due to end in less than three weeks’ time, the Liverpool vs Manchester United
match has now been moved to May 13, in spite of the fixture congestion that Manchester
United must now overcome.
Leicester City vs Manchester United Match

City at Old Trafford, which had been moved from its original date of
May 15 to May 12 due to Leicester City involvement in the FA Cup Final, has now

That game falls just 52 hours after

Brendan
Rodgers Reviews
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers
says he is not worried about the prospect of further protests by Manchester United
supporters and potential for disruptions when they travel to Old Trafford next
week.
When asked about the possible need
to increase security around Leicester City Team, Rodgers said: "We've got
no concerns.
"Obviously we've seen the protest last weekend. We condemn any violence that was seen on the day, but
certainly, for the Manchester United supporters, there has clearly been a source
of frustration for many, many years for them, and they come out to support the
team and support their role within that.
"But for us, going there next
week, we've got no concerns whatsoever. We look forward to going there and
playing the game."
