This summer there will be 10,000 fans each in the three international matches in Wales at the Stadium of the Principality of Wales.
Wayne Pivac of the Canadian team will host the Six Nations
Championship led by Kingsley Jones and Rob Howley on July 3.
Then they will take on Argentina against Argentina on the
next two Saturdays (July 10 and 17).
Initially, Wales was scheduled to visit Uruguay and Argentina
this summer.
However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the plan was canceled
and an alternative three-game schedule was drawn up for Cardiff.
The focus is now on how many fans are allowed to recruit
those games.
Since March 2020, there is no one in the Wales rugby match
and all the fixtures are behind the door.
Last week, although a limited number of fans were allowed to
participate in the home playoffs in Swansea City and Newport County, the rugby game has not yet been played by spectators.
However, WRU hopes they can give a thumbs up to the
international summer competition.
CEO Steve Phillips said, “We expect news on June 7th.
10,000 people took part in two European finals in Twickenham
last weekend.
On June 26, the Lions acquired 17,000 vehicles in
Murrayfield.
"England will start to play against Canada and The United States in July.
"If the Welsh government is happy with the Indian
variant, then I am optimistic about Wales' matches against Canada and
Argentina.
"I hope we can reach 10,000.
"I've perceived its strength to be the lowest of 25% and
ten thousand."
So the question is how do they decide whom to enter?
Phillips said, "We're working hard on this right
now."
“There are many problems. We have commercial partners, we
have debenture holders and we have to find a solution.
"It gets complicated.
“So we have to find out all this and what it means, there is
also controversy over who is playing the game.
"You could say this isn't a home game in Wales and the
club's usage rights don't exist, so we need to find out.
"Then we have to tell Argentina if this is technically
an Argentinian game, what do you want?"
The candidates for the Pumas matches also have financial
problems.
"But I don't want our players to be quarantined for 10
days on the return trip.
“We should fly there, so we helped Argentina fly here.
Technically that's their door, and we'll have to make some arrangements for
this.
'You also have TV to discuss.
"With 10,000 fans, I don't even know if we're going to
make a profit, but I'm going to do it anyway because it's all about restoring
the atmosphere.
"This is a start and a signal to return to normal. For
me, it is more important than getting rewards.
"Wayne Pivac told, very clear that he hopes to join in
an international rugby match in July, so that's the main driver.
"Wales wants to play, Argentina really wants to play. We
are very lucky because England has made an arrangement with the United States
and Canada so that we can play against Canada on July 3rd."
