Two England coaches left to carry out a latest overhaul of Jones' backroom staff
Simon Amor has resigned as England offensive coach since his worst Six Nations performance since 1976 while the Skills coach Jason Ryles also left Eddie Jones’s backroom staff in major another overhaul.

The Rugby Football Union said Friday it was a joint decision
for Amor to leave after just 15 months but after England's dismal performance
in fifth place in the Six Nations, change is always possible. At the same time,
due to the problems caused by moving from Australia during the pandemic, Ryles
is not one of the six Nations, so he chose to stay there.
The RFU's assessment of England's 'Six Nations ' performance
made Jones impeccable, but it rarely mentioned his assistants, calling into
question their future. However, the comment did emphasize that Ryles's absence
was one of the reasons for the underperformance in England. Therefore, while
his departure could be considered a blow to Jones, Amor's withdrawal isn't
terribly impressive.
Eddie Jones will manage England's offensive against the United States and Canada this summer as he seeks to replace Amor, another
reorganization of his coaching staff. Since Jones took office, Paul Gustard,
Glen Ella, Rory Teague, Steve Borthwick, Neal Hatley, Sam Vesty, Scott
Wisemantel, Amor, and Ryles have come and gone.
Jones spent some time this week at Hull FC, which is coached by fellow countryman Brett Hodgson. Given that Hodgson had previously spent time in training camps in England, he will inevitably be touted as a more permanent role and Wasps offensive coach Martin Gleeson has also been contacted. Ed Robinson was a member of Ryles during six Nations, and Jones also spoke highly of him.
Jones said, "I would like to commend Simon for his
excellent diligence and hard work. There is no doubt that he will soon find a
role that suits him perfectly." “With Jason, the limitations on Covid-19
show him and it’s hard for the family to overcome. We fully understand this,
but it disappoints us and the team.
Amor was appointed internally by the RFU in early 2020 and
was previously in charge of the men's sevens team. His job was to fill the vast
void left by the popular Wisemantel Hotel, but he found it difficult to inspire
England's transgression. Ryles was hired full-time in October 2020 and is in
good standing for winning the National Rugby League title with Melbourne Storm,
but this pandemic has limited his influence.
