Leicester City and Chelsea have both been charged £22,500 for the stoppage-time fight between the football clubs' players that took place at Stamford Bridge last month.

The Blues victory over the Foxes that night at Stamford Bridge, which was played in front of 8,000 Chelsea’s fans, proved to be vital in the competition to finish in the Premier League top four.

It meant Chelsea went into the final day of the Premier League season knowing they would secure Champions League football by improving the Foxes result.

Chelsea did that, although not how many expected. The Blues suffered a unsatisfactory loss to Aston Villa but, fortunately, a Gareth Bale-inspired Hotspurs beaten Leicester City 4-2 at the King Power.
